This patient was missing front teeth. A bridge was made to replace the missing teeth, and the patient got a great cleaning by one of our wonderful hygienists to remove the staining.
The gray color in the before photograph is indicative of a tooth that has died for some reason. A root canal was preformed followed by internal bleaching to remove the grayish. Once the tooth matched the shade of the adjacent teeth a tooth colored composite resin restoration was done to restore the tooth.
After breaking a front tooth, all porcelain crowns were completed on both front teeth to restore their natural esthetics. Prior to selecting a shade for the new crowns, the patient opted to use custom fabricated bleaching trays to lighten the shade of her teeth.
