Any patient interested in dental implants is scheduled for a consult with one of the dentists at Oak Family Dental. At this appointment, we will review your medical and dental history. We also check to make sure you have sufficient bone and space for implants. Some patients will require bone grafting and sinus lifts to make the necessary space for an implant to be properly implanted into the bone.
Placing Your Dental Implant
After you have been cleared to have a dental implant placed we will need to set up another appointment to prep the area that the implant will be attaching to. Dental implants work by attaching to our jawbone with bio-compatible material that acts as your own natural roots.
