Why doesn't my insurance pay for that?
Most insurance plans do not cover all dental procedures. Dental insurance does not take into consideration your needs or what the dentist deems necessary based on your needs. Your coverage is based on how much you pay into the plan. Dental plans are a contract between you and your insurance company. You and your insurer agree on an amount your plan pays and what procedures are covered. Although we can often give you an idea of what your insurance company will pay, they make the final determination of benefits and eligibility.
